We’re already in April and we find ourselves asking, where did the first three months of 2016 go? At Health & Safety Publications we’ve had a very busy first quarter in 2016 as our reputation grows as a quality publisher of health and safety booklets. In January we were accepted onto InterTrade Ireland’s Elevate Programme to assist us to expand our presence in the UK. his assistance takes the form of specialist sales and marketing support and we are already seeing the benefits of this. We have received really excellent feedback from many of our UK clients, who have said that they are so pleasantly surprised by the practical way in which the information is displayed in the booklets, making it easier to show and demonstrate the fundamentals of health and safety. For trainees this makes it easier to fully understand the importance of the information being imparted and how it relates to their job in an everyday context.
We launched a new website specifically for the UK, to enable UK companies to buy our products online in sterling. Check out our range of products at www.hspublishers.co.uk . Our customers in Ireland can still use www.hspublications.ie
In early March we attended the Facilities Management show in the RDS in Dublin, spending two very productive days making new contacts and catching up with existing customers.
At the end of March we attended the Health & Safety Expo at Birmingham’s NEC. It was a very busy show with 200 exhibitors, and was attended by over 6000 health and safety professionals from around the UK. This was a great opportunity and experience for us as we expand our company into the UK. We are already working with several key health and safety training companies as well as UK manufacturers. The Expo included a wide range of seminars on the latest developments in health and safety, featuring a panel of industry thought-leaders.
We are now into April and things are still moving at a significant pace. Just this week we launched our new corporate profile on LinkedIn where we will be posting industry updates, changes in legislation, health and safety news and of course, information on new products in our range. Click on the ‘Follow’ button to keep up to date with all the news.
We are always keen to hear from you if there are other booklets in our range that you would like to see. Drop us a line at info (at) hspublications.ie with any suggestions, we are always open to new ideas!
